Having Leila as my doula was one of the greatest gifts I could have given myself during my birth experience.

From the moment she became part of my journey, I felt supported, understood, and deeply cared for. She has this beautiful ability to be completely present without ever taking over the space. she knows when to guide you, when to encourage you, when to remind you of your own strength, and when to simply be there.

her presence made me feel safe. She helped me stay grounded and connected to my body, even through the most intense moments. There was something incredibly reassuring about knowing that she was there beside me, holding space for me and reminding me that I was capable of doing what my body already knew how to do.

But what makes my relationship with Leila even more special is that her support didn’t end when my baby was born.

Almost a year later, we are still in touch. She has continued to check in on me and support me through the enormous transformation that is postpartum and becoming a mother. And that journey hasn’t always been easy. There have been beautiful moments, but also vulnerable, challenging ones, and knowing that someone who witnessed me becoming a mother is still there, caring about the woman I am becoming, has meant more to me than I can put into words.

Giving birth to my son was one of the most powerful and transformative experiences of my life, and Leila will forever be part of that story. I am grateful not only for the way she held me through birth, but for the way she has continued to hold space for me afterward.

Every woman deserves to feel this supported not only while giving birth, but as she finds her way into motherhood.
